I haven’t sit for any parts yet, but plan to sit for BEC at the end of the month if my NTS ever comes in. Is there any way I can check the status of my application? I think I found a place, but how do you determinue your jurisdiction number?

Any info would be great.

You will get an email from your state representative (once your application goes through) that will contain your jurisdiction ID number… if you've been waiting for quite ahile I would give them a call. sometimes the state representatives “forget” about things they have laying on their desk.

Mulligan,

I emailed NY's cpa examination services general email inquiring about my Jurisdiction number one week after I submitted my application and within 2 hours my representative responded to me giving me my number and instructing me how to log in as well as an update on my application status. I would recommend emailing them to see where you stand. I found the email through NASBA.ORG I believe. Hope this helps!

I never got an email from my state representative, so I had to call the CPA exam center to get my jurisdiction number. I don't know which state you're registered in, but I applied to Georgia 7 weeks ago and still no NTS. Chances are you probably won't be able to take the exam this month.

Speaking of the devil… I just checked my email… and it's here!!! NTS is here!! 😀 It took exactly 7 weeks.

The post said it is under review and up to 7 weeks from the middle of July. I was going to be prepared to sit at the end of this month. So…it looks like I will be taking 2 exams in October if I do not get my NTS…maybe I'm crazy. FAR BEC AUD between Oct 18 and Nov 30th

Mulligan, you may want to call and escalate to a supervisor…a coworker of mine did that and he got his NTS the next day
