I can pass BEC in 19 days, but I need the right study method, any suggestions?

So I’ve taking FAR on 2.10.12 and then BEC 2.29.12, leaving me less than 19 days to study for it. This is because I can’t study for these two exams simultaneously. They would just confuse the hell out of me. I’m currently not working and have no distractions, except going out Friday and Saturday nights. Any tips on time management would be greatly appreciated, seeing that I have none.

    FAR 2.10.12 (Yaegar)
    BEC 2.29.12 (Yaegar)
    REG 4.21.12 (Yaegar)
    AUD 5.30.12 (Yaegar)

Let see. 8 hours a day x 5 days = 40 hours a week .. so 10 days will give you 80 hours ! + couple extra days.. I think you can definitely do it !!!

Good Luck. I am studying BEC right now and I'm having the hardest time learning these capital budgeting concepts :/

    Study Material:
    GLEIM
    BEC - FEB/2012
    AUD - FEB/2012
    FAR - JULY/2012
    REG - JULY/2012

Haha that is so true, but it sounds so much easier than it is. I'm taking the Yaegar CPA review right now and they break up FAR into 51 hrs of video. I've only reached 27 hours so FAR :(, and its been over 2 months. The instructors are great, but I fear this boring life of a CPA candidate is no life at all.

    FAR 2.10.12 (Yaegar)
    BEC 2.29.12 (Yaegar)
    REG 4.21.12 (Yaegar)
    AUD 5.30.12 (Yaegar)

@Mike (btw,, I like the moniker LOL!)

Here is a link for a study method. https://www.another71.com/how-to-pass-the-cpa-exam-in-20-days/ I would say for you that even though you have 20 days, I wouldn't stop watching the videos, I think you still have time to finish them. But maybe looking at the 20 day plan may help you focus on what steps you should spend time on. I used Yaeger for FAR and was really happy. The videos took forever…but Cindy is great. She gives so much detail…and her notes were great. I used them alot for studying. I think the hardest part about not working and studying is making sure you map out what you want to accomplish each day. I tried to make my “job” studying for the exam. The library is great for me.

    Best of luck.

U can definitely pull it off…I did bec in 21 days while working full time. And yes I watched all the Yaeger lectures. the lectures don't take long, u can finish them…and you need them to show you how to calculate stuff. I actually went thru he lectures twice, and the cram. I took off only one night, the day I got my passing REG score to watch harry potter 🙂
