    I really need some encouragement from the group. Been studying FAR for 4 months and my exam in 10/07 at 12:30pm. I have been using Yeager with the WTB to prepare. Also purchased 10pt Combo lite and have already completely copied them and listen to the audio and do flash cards daily. With all that being said, my grades on practice tests are HORRIBLE. The best grade Ive gotten since doing non stop MCQs on Sunday is 70.

    I am really struggling with finding the motivation to complete my review this week. A failing grade and retake seems inevitable.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to use my remaining time? Or should I just go to happy hour and begin mentally preparing for the retake?

    Wanna_B – you have an excellent chance of passing. Don't worry about your practice scores. I used Becker and generally got failing practice scores but passed. As a rule I think the review course tests are intentionally harder than the real test.

    Just keep working the questions. Make your own notes. In subjects with a formula (like pensions) write down the formula in your own words, over and over until you're getting it right or at least close. I don't think I ever got it 100% right but I was close.

    Go into the exam and do your best. Make quick decisions about questions you need to guess on. Try not to stress (I know, easier said than done) and use what you know. You probably know more than you think.

    If you feel like crap after the test – it's normal! 99% of us do and many of us pass anyway. Good luck to you!

    @OP You know so much more that you think you do!!!! Keep in mind that every MCQ you answer incorrectly is a new learning opportunity. Getting incorrect answers NOW is much preferable to getting incorrect answers on test day! Keep drilling those MCQs and take notes on why the answer is wrong. Keep in mind also that your nerves may be a factor in your practice tests. Instead of doing 90 question dry runs, try doing sets of 20 in each topic. That will allow you to see what areas need the most attention between now and test day.

    If you've gone through Yeager, Ninja, WTB, daily audio, flashcards, and recopied your notes then you've given yourself the best chance for a pass. Keep pushing as hard as you can and be proud of all the hard work you've poured into this.

    You can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    PS: Extra style points to you for a creative thread title!!!!!! 🙂

    @WannaB,

    You are doing more than enough to pass. I would follow up on the mcq's that are weak or the topics that are weak and focus in on those…..other than what you have done just nail it down……Go pass…four months is more than enough.

    It begins with a 75
    Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass
