Just curious if anyone has gone into FAR with less than a trending score of 85% or whatever your review course says to achieve and you still passed? I still have two more days of studying but I am not sure I will make it to that 85%.

just got a 74% out of 50 questions on Ninja….DAMMIT

im trying to keep it in the 80s..

and yeah @KPB…we learn 100% of material (or try to) and get tested on a slight percentage of it

I made it to 70% a couple times and have since dropped to 68%…that being said I feel really good about the material and ready to crush this test. Dabbling with CPA excel sim's has boosted my confidence as well. Saturday will be my day to seize.

@kpb I went over everything what seemed like 20 or 30 times. Ugh. Some things would just not stick in my brain. I was not blessed with a “read it once and know it” brain, which is what those who score in the 90's have. Could be smarter than us or just have a good memory. Grrr… get off the forum and do MCQ 😉 Good luck

I didn't use the ninja MCQs, but on Becker it was rare for me to get over 70%-80% on any progress test or block of MCQs even right before the exam.

I won't know if I passed FAR until Thursday, but I'm pretty sure no one trends that high with that stupid exam. The amount of the material is just too vast. On my practice tests (used the Wiley Test Bank), I frequently got around 70%.

BEC - 72, 82! ✓

AUD - 70, 92! ✓
REG - 74, 78! ✓

Yep. And somehow passed with an 81. Averaged 60%-70% per practice test.

samdiegoCPA and the chapman, thanks for the motivation and encouragement that I too can pass this exam.

And sam, glad to know you still felt the same way even if you went over it 20-30 times. It's just soooooooo much. And yes, as i have been practicing MCQs, even though I have forgotten a lot, a lot is also coming back to me. but i just hope its not a temporary short term memory, i do use the book to try to learn also. Hopefully I won't have too many moments in the exam where I wish i had my book in front of me …. thanks so much for replying 🙂 i dont have that kind of brain either, i do, but its temporary not long term hehehee

I definitely wish I was one of those people who got all 4 exams done in 4 months, but unfortunately LIFE (being a newlywed, stress, adjusting to newlywed life and cpa exam study life, as well as starting a job with a Big4 which I am very happy about) got in the way, just happy that I am passing period!!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

@kpb – You got this. Just remember that the actual exam gives you a little slack based on how hard the questions are – a benefit that no review program can accurately replicate. Therefore, you're probably better off than you realize.
