Hi all, I just applied for my CPA exams and am looking to start taking them in January. Do you readers have any recommendations for which exam to take first? Which ones give people the most trouble? Any fears on AUD or FAR (heard these are tough… but also heard from some that AUD is easy like BEC). Regardless, any advice or heads up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recommend taking them in the following order: REG, FAR, AUD & BEC. If I had the chance to do it from the start, in hindsight, that's the order I'd do it in. I was so burned out by the time I got to REG, I'm worried I won't pass this one.

fuzyfro- Everyone is different when it comes to what they find difficult. I found FAR to be my easiest exam because I had great college professors and I work in accounting so I am very familiar with the concepts already. If I were to do it all again based on what I know now (assuming no previous accounting experience other than college), I would go with FAR, AUD, REG and BEC

FAR- 75
REG- 82
BEC- 73, 79!! Its over. Am I dreaming?
AUD- 74, 74, 88
