Allowance for Doubtful Accounts

So I’ve struggled a little on this when going through the Wiley Test Bank. I believe one of the reasons that i’ve struggled is because it isn’t on the NINJA Audio, Notes, or Flashcards. Does that mean that it isn’t likely to be tested? Just curious that if something isn’t on the notes does that mean that it isn’t as likely to be tested.

    Thanks

You should know this concept. That's basics for FAR.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

Ya I know it is a basic concept and I understood it after working through the wiley test bank on that topic today. I'm just saying I listen to the audio and study the NINJA notes religiously and there are a few things that aren't on the notes or audio. I'm curious that if Jeff didn't cover it on his study materials does it mean that it is less likely to be tested? Thanks

No, not necessarily. Check the CSOs from the AICPA to see approximately how much of the exam will test you on a particular topic.

Well, that's the “beauty” of these exams… You learn everything from your CPA review material and they still can test you on things which your materials don't cover! The best you can do is to learn as much as you can from the materials you have.

I never used NINJA materials so cannot comment on those. Sorry.
