    Guys,

I took FAR on Oct 1. Around what time would AICPA release the scores? And how can I check the score once its released?

You're looking at November 17th. You can check the scores on NASBA the next night at around 10 pm. Realistically you'll get the score at around 12 or so.

I really wish we could just pay someone to get these scores sooner. I'd be willing to pay a hell of a lot.

Probably not until mid-November… Jeff had a book for Q3 with all the predicted dates and such, not sure if there is a Q4 version, or if there will be… He does have a video though on the right side of this page with his predictions, so watch that to get an idea of when to maybe be able to see your score…

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

So do you think all the scores will be released before the Thanksgiving holidays?

For the first wave definitely, Jeff already predicted the release dates. Watch his latest video regarding that. He's usually dead on.

There's no guaranteed you'll be in wave 1. If not wave 1, you'll be waiting until just before Christmas. I waited about 2.5 months for my AUD score. Took the test in early April and got my score June 19th.

    AUD 96 FAR 95 REG 94 BEC 88

What is the point of giving out new simulations if the test, specifically the sims, will completely change starting next window?!?!?

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

Ya I think Jeff said Wave 1 before Thanksgiving, and wave 2 before Christmas…. I think it would be pure torture to have to sit through Thanksgiving or Christmas not knowing the grades…. I wish I could bump up my exam date and get in Wave 1, oh well at least I won't waste time looking for my grade in Wave 1….

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

    ItalianCPA,

They're definitely using the pretest simulations for use in 2011. Thats why we've all been getting these multiple topic sims. I had 6 different tabs with 6 different topics on my two FAR sims. And I managed to screw them all up in one way or another. Heres to hoping they were pretest.

How does Wave one and Wave two work? If I do not have my scores in wave 1, does that mean I have slim chances of passing the exam??

No, it means that you either took it during wave 2 or you had a pretest sim, which automatically pushes you back to wave 2.

    gcaulfie:

I had unrelated-topic sims in both AUD and FAR and I was in wave1.

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

Interesting. Well I guess I'm in trouble then. How did you feel with your FAR sims?

100% sure I got all the tabs right, got a WC on a topic I knew inside and out from work (and I also used the research tab) and got one research tab right.

The second WC was very abstract and I BS-ed a lot and the other research tab was impossible, I spent the whole half hour I had left trying to find the right answer.

Scored stronger on sims and comparable on WC.

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

Has anyone noticed that the NASBA score check screen has changed?

Wonder if they fixed the loophole?

At least I know I am in Wave 2 so the Wave 1 folks can see what's up first.

    Oh goodness!!!!!!!!! It did change.

    AUD 95 (3/5/10); BEC 83 (5/28/10); FAR 71, 72, 74, 82 (10/16/10); REG 65,80(11/23/10)
    ALL DONE 🙂
