Hi friends, I am just done with the Wiley MCQs and just started doing the AICPA newly released 2009,2010 and 2011 FAR MCQs with Becker provided explanation. Do you thing this is a good approach to carry on with the MCQ prctice untill the exam day which is almost 11 days from now? Or is there any better way to continue with the study?

    Your feedback/opinion is always appreciated.

Yes, it helps you out because what ever terms you didn't understand you will learn it because they provide an explanation. Great confidence builder for me because most of the time they are easy Q.

@Jack Don, Thnx for the reply. You said most of the time there are easy questions. So do you think I should practice some difficult MCQs as well just to be ready for the actual ones on the big day? Though its great to build confidence with easy MCQs ,however, I must be prepared for the real flavor !

What do you think is a good source of MCQs and practice test?

The exam in my opinion, is easier than the tough questions form Wiley or Becker. The amount of info is the part that gets you.

I agree with you bro. FAR concepts are not so hard ,nevertheless, its all about how good is your memory to retain that huge bunch of info!!

Good luck for your remaining section of CPA 🙂

    Skip.

Wiley licenses their questions from the AICPA. The “released” questions are retired and will never be used again.

If you are rocking the MCQs well enough in Wiley – you should be taking the exam and not messing around with these questions **in my humble opinion**.

I never worked any of these released questions when I was taking the exam.

Totally up to you – I advise against it for efficiency-sake.

@Jeff, You are expert on matters related to CPA ,hence, I will follow your advice on this. So instead of spending time on these released questions shall I do Gleim MCQs as I've already purchased them on line? or shall I do Becker sample test?

I feel really running out of time and started getting into panic mood!!

    Thanks indeed

I would work both of your purchased MCQ programs – but no practice tests.

Start with your weakest area first and work backwards from there…weakest to strongest…do sets of 20 MCQs over a weak topic…read the answer explanations…when you feel reasonably comfortable…move to the next section.

    You can do it!
