Hey all! Test is Saturday, and I’m hitting the Ninja MCQs like a madman. I do need some advice though:if I notice that I’m having trouble in one or two of the 4 main topics…should I hammer the MCQs for those topics? Or should I go back to Wiley and skim the topics? I fear I won’t be able to retain much if I re-read notes and such at this point. On the other hand, it’s killing me to watch my trending score drop as the MCQs seemingly hone in on my trouble areas (went from 75 to 72 :-().

if your problem is unerstanding the fundamentals a review of the notes on that topic may help and then do more mcq's to see how they are applued. if it is just a matter of needing practice stick with the mcq's. trending increases with applied understanding. mcq. mcq. mcq.

Its more like, when I see the question, I remember the topic but forgot the specifics. Usually, once I get it wrong and look at the answer, I'm like “Oooh, I remember that!”. Not sure if a re-learning or a reminder is needed.

On those questions, are you at least able to narrow it down to 2 answers? If yes, keep drilling MCQ. If no, go back to the notes. That's what I'd do if I were you.

if you have already watched the lectures and read the book trying to understand your weak areas but it's not clicking, you probably need a different way of explaining it to you. try googling the topic or hit up youtube. it helped me finally get over the hump for cost accounting in BEC.
