Hi Everyone,

I have to re-take FAR after missing the mark by 6 points. My Becker course expires in a few days so I’m looking for a CPA exam review just for this section (I have passed BEC and AUD using Becker, and I took REG a few weeks ago and I am waiting to receive scores in a few weeks–praying that it is a passing score). I have a few options that I am thinking about based on older posts I have seen in the forum:

1. Purchase Gleim for FAR
2. Purchase Yaegar FAR (either the regular course or cram course) and supplement with Ninja MCQ
3. Use Ninja Assult (formerly the 10 point combo)

My game plan is to just start over from scratch with studying for this section and to retake in either October or November (since scores won’t be released until December for the Q4 testing window). I’m looking for something that would give me a good review as if I am studying FAR for the first time. My idea is to study 2-3 hours a day after work and 16 hours on the weekends. I would love to hear suggestions.

Personally – I'd nicely but assertively ask Becker to extend the subscription and buy the Ninja MCQ/Notes package. I don't like everything about Becker but with it and Ninja – it's enough to pass and you don't need to learn a new system. That is – unless there's a significant deficiency for you in Becker. For me – Becker alone was not enough to pass FAR but with Ninja – it was.

Thanks for this advice! I know I just need to make it over this hump. I told myself I want to enter 2018 with this exam behind me.
