So my journey has gone like this

    • October of 2012 failed Audit with a 74

    • May of 2013 passed Audit

    • August 2013 passed BEC

    • November of 2013 passed REG

    • February of 2014 —- 74

Recently I re-took the exam with expectations to receive the score in late May of which I am pretty certain I failed once again. My current position is Finance Manager at a very good private company with no expectations of every working in the public environment.

My question is this, I have a large family and like all of you the CPA exam has consumed my life which has negatively affected the people around me. What is the point that it’s okay to say enough is enough and call it on every being a CPA? I’ve read a lot of your stories and have taken quite a bit of inspiration from them so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you need to shake this negative vibe. A LOT of us have been on this journey longer than one year, people have families, friends and lives. You're one year into it with one exam to go? Where's the problem? You're way ahead of others. … get this last one out of the way.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

You got this. You already passed 3 sections and almost passed your 4th. You still have 2 more chances at FAR before your AUD credit expires. Show the CPA exam who's boss.

I know you feel like you didn't pass, but don't give up hope just yet. You may be pleasantly surprised. If not, and you failed, just dust off and try again. You've come so far and invested so much. Maybe you should reflect on why you began the journey to CPA. If you want it, don't give up now that you are so close and in such a good position to finish it out.
