Hey folks, I typically browse through here. Anyway, failed Audit AGAIN for the 3rd time in the last 3 testing windows. I have passed all the other parts and REG expires on May 20th, so i have one last crack at it.

Anyway, i am frustrated as hell because I keep getting the same grade….68! I have Becker review course and its Final Review. The frustrating part is I know the material and i am comfortable with it and there is not a topic that is hanging me up.

I got an email for an ExamMatrix by Thomson Reuters. Anyone used it?

It appears that Yaeger’s Cram is a good product as well according to what i have seen on this forum. As it is, I am getting Becker to resend me the 2010 version of its AUD review.

Any help would be appreciated!

I am doing Gleim Online plus Gleim Test Prep, and Wiley 14.0 software for my second try. I am determined to pass in May! Yaeger Home Study for AUD will get you the Wiley book, Wiley 14.0 software and Gary will review most of the questions in the Wiley book.

lxa656 – When you receive your results for Audit, does it tell you the areas that need improvement? This may be a good place to start and also a way for you to gauge whether the materials you have cover the areas where you need improvement.

RP, i havent gotten in my last letter but the 2 previous times I have been in line with those who have passed or exceeded what those who passed did in the particular area in 4 of 5 subjects and exceeded for simulations and on par with writing skills.

It is quite frustrating that I am doing everything well in 4 of 5 but a 61 in 1 section screws up my whole grade. I also try not to focus too much on that particular area because i want to stay on course with the other ones as well.

I swear on the last exam I took I knew every single answer without a doubt in the first testlet.

It depends on what section you're doing really badly on. Each section is NOT weighted equally. If it's the evidence section (which weighs the most) then you need to go through and know all the accounting cycles and see what they are asking for.

Good luck on it. Took me a couple tries to crack Audit.

I just passed Audit with a 79 (the only exam that I passed on the first try). I mainly used Becker but I supplemented with Wiley. I am certain that doing the Wiley questions are what pushed me over the edge. I am hoping that the same tactic will help my Regulation score 🙂

I used ExamMatrix but because it does not have a really good lecture component, I also used an older version of Becker so that I could have a really GREAT lecture. I used ExamMatrix for the MCQs and Simulations.

Also, what would you guys recommend?

Should I just re-hit my Becker Audit lectures all over again? Or should i really consider switching to Yaeger or getting a CRAM session?

As of now, my point of attack is to redo the Becker course, including Final Review and attack the questions over and over and over and over again.
