Active vs Inactive CPA signing off on experience

    Does the CPA have to be an active CPA to sign your experience to license you? From what I have gathered, this is the case. Just wanted to clarify with everyone

    It may depend on the state. I believe in NY, they must hold an active license and be your supervisor (not a colleague)
