71 FAR what now?

    I just got my score online. FAR 71 and this was my first time to sit for any section. I am discouraged because I have never failed anything before. At any rate, I am already scheduled to sit for BEC on Nov. 10th. My plan is now to go ahead and begin my preparation for BEC, sit for it, and then retake FAR in January. I used BISK which seemed to be adequate. IDK, I think I will continue with BISK and purchase some additional test banks from Wiley. ANY advice is VERY welcomed here.

    Retake FAR before you start BEC.

    How long did you study for FAR? Personally I'd retake FAR as early in October as possible, then go for bec at the end of November (unless you work full time AND have kids, then I think 2 per window is dancing with fate).

    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

    Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.
