    Friends,

My FAR exam is on 28th Feb 2012 and due to extraordinary work load I was not able to start studying for the exam! Now I have around 3 to 4 hours per day to study for coming 6 weeks ,until my scheduled exam date (maybe last week i will put more hours). Therefor, my plan is to go through the Roger’s USB lectures within two weeks then do all Wiley test bank of 1,400 MCQ’s.

Do you think with this level of preparation I will be in a good shape on the exam date??

Your advices will be highly Appreciatted.

    Thanks.

Brother I think u are on track, I am appearing for the exam on Feb 27th and all I have finished was F1, dont u worry.. you have enough time but make sure you squeeze in time for some quality revisions

    FAR: 79, what im done??
    REG: 75
    AUD: 75
    BEC: 77

    I would rather score four 75's than three 99's and a 74

@spineshank77 Thanks bro, but do you think 1,500 MCQs are enough to practice for FAR exam. This is all what I have in Wiley Test Bank 🙁

I wouldn't spend 2 weeks just watching lectures. Use all of your time to do MCQs and try to go through them twice.

I think you have more than enough time. I spent about a month studying for FAR, and only did about 15 hours a week because of work. I ended up with a 77. I wouldn't even bother with the videos, just concentrate on knocking out as many MC as possible. When you get one wrong, understand why you got that particular question wrong, then move on.

your schedule is something similar to what I did. I had from 4/18-5/24/11 to prep for FAR while starting a new job. It's all about discipline. Break the material out into smaller pieces, cover the material and move on. There is so much material you can't wait until it's all mastered. Do your best, move on, review at the end. Then pray that your strongest material shows up on the exam.

    Bec 4/11/11 91
    Aud 7/11/11 75
    Reg 8/31/11 80
    Far 5/24/11 86
    Ethics - 98

Thanks all for the advices. Now my worry is that 1,500 may not be enough number of MCQs to practice.

    Any suggestions??

trust me it's more than enough, I didnt pass FAR the first time because I was busy trying to watch all the videos and take notes, by then I was already out of time in doing MCQs..my suggestion is read the material and substatiate your understanding with the MCQs…most importantly it's quality over quantity, make sure u know why u got the questions wrong/correct.. best of luck
