Hey, I’m trying to figure out if I should re-schedule FAR and could use some advice.

I’ve taken FAR recently and missed with a 72. I’ve seen all of Roger’s lectures, but have work to do in the MCQs. Let’s say I have to travel for work or have family conflicts this month where I’m left with only 56 solid quality hours of study before sitting for FAR, should I go ahead and sit this window or postpone for October?

I realize there’s no set formula and I HAVE TO put the work in to pass. It’s just been weighing on my mind, and I hoped to find a sounding board on here.

    thanks!

56 hours of studying? That is pretty specific. lol.

The only thing you've got to lose by taking it this month is testing fees. If a couple hundred dollars isnt an issue, then I would say definitely try to take it this window. You'll always be able to take it in October if it doesnt work out.

Edit: When you say you took FAR “recently”, you dont mean in July/August, right? You can only take the exam once per quarter. Just making sure you knew that.

    lol, 56 worst case scenario… 14 days x 4 hrs

    Might be more…

    19 days x 2 = 38

    19 days x 3 = 57

    19 days x 4 =75

    so, maybe 75 ? LOL

    AH, back to studying!!

PS. recently, but not this window. 🙂
