Since yesterday morning, I have worked 508 MC questions in FAR. Add to that 144 that I did from Wednesday until Friday. I am sick of them. It takes so long and I am getting totally frustrated and tired. My FAR exam is two weeks from tommorow on August 13th and my software expires August 12th. Anybody else burning out?? How do we keep going? Help!

Sometimes the only thing that keeps me going on the bad days is remembering how it felt when I got my passing scores…and I try to remember how badly I want those 3 letters after my name.

    F - 53, 78
    B - 71, 75
    R - 73, 84
    A - August 2012

I think you may have done more FAR MCQs in two days than I did in all of my FAR studies. Are you just going through the motions or are you really benefiting from doing so many questions? Do you take the time to understand why you get questions right and wrong? If done properly, 500 MCQ should take you like 16-17 hours if you spend about two minutes per question. How long did it take you to do the 500 questions?

Wow, I thought I did well and I only did 350. I take mine the 14th and I am burning out as well. I broke down and bought the ninja notes tonight. Hoping that can help me put everything together. This is my 2nd go on FAR. Missed it by 2 points last go round, but I feel like this is my first time. I should be nervous, but I have 5 days before the exam off work and that is when I always put everything together. Also, I've really focused on the Not for Profit this time. I kind of skimmed it over last time.

    BEC - 77
    AUD - 83
    REG - 76
    FARS - 74, 84

@Mr. Mini I worked on MC for eleven hours yesterday and seven today. I read the question very carefully and make a selection. Even if I get the question right, I read the solution twice. I make sure that I know where every number comes from(if applicable) before going on. I write the problems out in detail and make notes as well. This is what takes so long.

@thetalam I PRAY for an exam FULL of Not For Profit!!! I work at a not-for-profit hospital and that topic has made the most sense out of the whole course the first go around. So you missed FAR by two points? Wow!! You'll take it this time.

This is my last section that I have to pass as well.

    Thanks guys! or gals!

@candothis – Good for you! Very impressive. You only have two weeks to go and you will likely be done. Just sprint through the finish line. Two more weeks is nothing and it will fly by. Good luck!

Thanks Mini! I take my exam on the 13th and leave for Costa Rica on the 18th. I will be there when my score is released. Hopefully I receive a passing score. I will climb a coconut tree.

Are you using Becker at all? I've done 10 progress tests (30 questions at a time) and I've done all the homework questions twice now. But I took about a month and a half off between the homework completion (I was watching other lectures and studying for AUD). I'm taking my test on the 14th. I don't think I can ever do 508 questions in one day. I've done 200+ (homework sections) at most but I get quickly burned out.

On a side note, my progress test scores are not looking very good. ranging from 70-86%….should I try more questions at a time?

@junpark Yes I am using Becker. Everyone knows that it is necessary to listen to the lectures but I have found from taking previous exams, I believe working the MC questions are the key to passing the exam. So yes you really do need to hammer out as many MC's as you can each day. As you may have read on here before, do MC's until you puke, clean it up and do more. Those 508 questions weren't my record. I can't rememer which section it was I was studying for, I think BEC, but I did over 700 questions in a weekend. I took about 13 hours each day of the weekend to do that. The only time I went out of my house was to take take the dog out:)

    Are these your first exams?

    Good luck!

I used ExamMatrix as the core when I took FAR in mid-July, and ended up doing close to 5,000 MCQ's.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!
