I am taking FAR on Nov 30th and I am stuck on what I should be spending my time on. I have completed all MCQ’s and the to final reviews which I received a 72 & 73. I have been going over my weak areas all last week and doing progress test as time permits, about 2-3 30 question test per day. I am getting to the point where I am sick of looking at this stuff and ready to take the test. Any tips on what I should cover during this week leading up to Saturday? This is my first test and I am nervous but I think I am ready. Hope I am right.

    Thanks for the responses.

    Derrick

    I am using Becker self-study.

Think about your worst nightmare. ie. “If I got a SIM on **blank,** I would be screwed/uncomfortable. Do those topics. Also, know the related journal entries for those topics. Practice using the AL. It will help you gain a few points on exam day.

You sound like me except my exam is tomorrow. I'm just trying to keep this stuff fresh in my head at this point.

    REG 8/12 - passed 79
    BEC 7/13 - passed 84
    AUD 8/13 - passed 83
    FAR 11/13 - Passed 83

Now off to a new county...

Practice ALL the JEs that Becker had to offer, including governmental and NFP. They will help you tremendously during the exam

    REG - 72, 72, 81
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 74 "so that's what it feels like." Round 2: 79

Passing the exam is not impossible task. GIVING UP is the only way YOU can make it impossible!

I think what I would do is just reading my own notes to give a review, read the MCQ that I did previously thousands of times and go with the difficult areas.

I wouldn just understand the concept and if possible still make other final notes of things I still dont get.

But for me, it would be just a review and I would do practice exams.

    Good luck

Progress tests. flashcards, and work on your weak areas to make them stronger (do simulations on them if needed. – If your scoring in the 70's on the Becker final review you should be in good shape (usually actual exam scores are higher)… but keep pushing to get better.

    Your thoughts please!!

I'm probably toast, but I know NOTHING about governmental accounting or pensions….should I spend time on them given it's so close to D-day?

Yes govt acct is heavily tested, af least look over the terminology like know the difference between a proprietary fund vs a special revenue fund
