4 weeks til FAR

    Hey guys,

    I’m taking FAR in exactly 4 weeks.
    I’m almost through all of the material in Becker so I will have ample time to review.

    I know this is longer than usual to spend on review so I want to be sure I use all of the time wisely. What are some things you all think I should focus on?

    Knowing governmental and not for profit will save your life. I think it's the pass or no pass determinent for sure. Know every nuance that could come up with governmental (what goes in what and what doesn't) … and all the obvious: leases, bonds, IFRS

    If I have to rank them?
    1) Know your “easy” points in FS statement, NFP, and Govt. Easy meaning concept based type questions and not the crazy leases, bonds, calcs.
    2) JEs. Both sides of the transaction. It will help you with MCQ and esp SIMS
    3) Leases, bonds, IFRS, and Pensions…these are obvious must knows..if you are out of time. I suggest doing 10-20 block questions on each and just FOCUS on learning those…preferably if its calculation heavy, print it, know it.
    4) Invest in a 2nd supplementary MCQ…Becker s/b enough, I passed 3 parts with Becker alone. But with FAR, I had to rely on NINJA MCQ…I was iffy on these products before and relied on the website for moral support. Bought that $47 and it was A LIFE SAVER.
    Good luck and also SLEEP 8 HRS before and mainly study your notes the day of exam.
