    Hi everyone,

Life dropped the ball on me and I have 3 weeks to take this exam. Im currently only thru F4 in Becker. I was wondering what the best plan of attack could be? I’ve set it up to where I study (almost) all day/everyday until the exam day.

I get caught up in the details. I watch the lectures, make my notes and then do the MCQs. The problems I miss, I add to my notes. I dont think I can attempt the MCQs without watching the lectures first. It’s always a good first intro to the topic. But I get caught up in making my notes and REALLY understanding the material… Hence my progress is slow.

    Any advice?!?!

A lot of my classmates found out they passed all 4 today. I’m incredibly happy for them but bummed that I’m still unable to take my first while they are done. (they totally put the time into this and deserve it, so please dont think I’m being bitter! I’m just feeling like I’m the only one left who was unable to focus and study this summer).

The lectures and notes really should only be there for you when you are constantly struggling on a topic and the MCQ's just aren't working for you. Work with ninja and/or becker and do 75% of all the MCQ's for that section trending between a 82-87% before you move on. If you really need to review the topic first, then read through the chapter fairly quickly and then start quizzing. I would suggest prepping yourself to be able to do 300-400 MCQs a day in your last week on all the sections combined. You will get bad scores at first, but read the solutions, make quick notes on those and move on. Also, sprinkle in a few TBS's just to be familiar with them since you haven't taken a test yet.

Also another tip is if you need to watch a video to understand the concept better turn the speed up, 1.5x or even 2x. I usually start at 1.5x to adjust then progress to 2x speed and you don't notice as big of a change that way.
