AFTER 4 Years of college, I still haven’t learned my lesson in: NOT PROCRASTINATING!!!
(Senior year was seriously my low… I would only start searching for my textbook, checking required chapters, and learning the material the MORNING of the Exam at like 4 am. T.T

But at the same time, last minute is when I thrive at studying. (I don’t know why but I can’t focus unless I’m in a position of time pressure)….I think maybe subconsciously I like the thrill of it. :B..But it can get stressful though…sigh.

Anyways, I will start work in October and wanted to get at least 1 exam out of the way this summer.
My studying started at end of July and I Finished F1. Then really complicated stuff with my NTS and foreign credits..and it had seemed like i wouldn’t get it in time for this testing window..So in the midst of F2 I gave up studying. (Bad Idea)

I thought “Guess, I’ll just take it in October”. And Got myself very involved with Church activities and other volunteer events.

BUT mid-august, I finally got hold of the official person reviewing my application and said she was “getting to my app, but because of the foreign credits.. she put it on hold and forgot about it.”Seriously?? -_-. But thank goodness I didn’t have to go through NASBA evals. Got my NTS 3 days later.

This was now Aug 17. And I kept contemplating if 14 days of studying would be enough? well.. that contemplating (was me procrastinating in disguise) wasted 4 days of precious studying time. Ugghhh. Until I realized the first 10 days of Sept. are available for testing :/. SOO I decided to take it, and booked the latest possible date opening which is September 8th.

SO starting Aug. 22, that gave me 17 days to Learn F2-F10. MY original plan was to do do a chapter a DAY for 10-ish days and have 7 days of review.
Well…NOPE. A CHAPTER a DAY IS ROUGHHHHHHH. Especially when u have might have some mild level of adhd and did like 2 hours a day for the first 3 days :/.. seriously hate myself sometimes.

Didn’t rwork out as planned and now starting F9 today and don’t know if ill finish (THERE IS 191 mcq!!) wat the heck.

ANYWAYSSSS..This leaves me with 3 days left. SHOULD I do all of F10 or should I skip and start reviewing ASAP? I haven’t even reviewed or done progress tests at all yet.
    ———————————————————

    tl;dr

3 days left. How Important is F10 for Far exam, and doing all of F9 mcq?
How about doing Sim practice? Research question practice? the Final exam practice?

Progress exams? Study mode or test mode? Oh boy I have a lot to do :(..
    Tips tricks? anything?

ANY LAST MINUTE ADVICE IS GREATLY WELCOMED!

Fluffy: I passed FAR in July; took the opposite approach, studied nonstop for 2 months and still barely passed. Don't recommend skipping any chapter, and the SIM practices are wicked important (TBS 40%). Only 3 days, don't know how much the human mind can absorb, but definitely do the SIM practice, don't skip any chapter. Best of luck. Oh, tips/tricks: I got the Becker flashcards, super boring but effective

F10 is very important don't under estimate it.At least read through it if you can't watch all the lectures.

At this time I wouldn't say to not focus on the research questions and to focus on the other simulations. Those are going to be more points than the 3 points from the research question. But, honestly hopefully this is a learning experience for you on how to study. This test is definitely not like college lol

    Best of Luck!

Yeah, At this point I'm trying to do that “Fresh in mind for just 4 hours approach” cause there's no way everything will absorb.

HOW would you guys Spend these Next 3 days?
Should I cut down on sleep? I sleep 6 hour nowadays.

Move your test out until the beginning of October. No sense trying to skip anything it's ALL fair game on test day.

If it's in the Becker materials then it's fair game and you should devote time to it. The less Becker covers a topic the lower the odds are you'll see the material on the exam, but there still is a chance, and there are enough of those super short, 3 page sections from all of the modules the odds are good you'll see questions and/or a sim on the exam covering some of them.

Better to spend the time to study thoroughly and be prepared the first time than have to cough up more $$$ in exam fees.

Of course you do F10. I took FAR on 7/25, and I left with a feeling that each of the 10 Becker chapters were equally represented on the exam. That is, each chapter was 10% of the exam. You'll notice 1 out of 4 questions dealing with IFRS and F10 has a review of IFRS. I had a few MCQs on derivatives and hedging instruments. You might see 1-2 MCQs each on VIE, ARO, partnership. The Accrueds section should be a couple MCQs. Heck, I had a derivatives Sim on AUD.
