Hello everyone, so i am scheduled to take my FAR on the 27th of May and i have all 3 other exams passed. the bad news is if i dont pass FAR now i lose BEC. i have already started studying with Becker and have sat through the classes (awhile ago) but recently have started and done all the questions for the first 4 out of 10 chapters. i have taken off work after today until my exam so i will be studying all day every day. please tell me other people out there believe this can be done, i think i can do this and im ready to bust my ass. thanks!

I have heard of someone studying 3-4 weeks for the exams and passing but he had the Becker express study material (?) not sure of the correct title, but he was also spending about 10 to 12 hours a day studying for it.

Good luck to you, I hope you can make it! (I will see if I can find the topic in the forum I saw it on, and post his strategy here tonight)

    FAR - 78*
    AUD - 66, 79
    REG - 73, 76
    BEC - 79

Far has a lot of information. You could do Beckers progress test for the first 4 chapters and that will give you an idea as to where you stand. You still have to take the exam because of the BEC credit.

    FAR-84

I studied for a solid week and a half in a two week period for my first attempt at FAR (procrastinating until one's NTS is about to expire is not the most efficient way of going about this exam…) – nonstop MCQs, used Jeff's BLITZ videos, Becker flashcards, part of the Yaeger CRAM videos – you get the idea. I pulled a 72 – something I knew was going to happen and that I was completely okay with. I was also working full time and took time out to spend with friends (I have a thing about “quality” of life!).

I think studying for 3+ solid weeks – no work – can work out for you if you're serious about it. You just have to make sure you're really concentrating and getting everything you can out of your study time. Invest in extra materials if you have to – I've read rave reviews about Jeff's NINJA MCQ Test Bank, and plan on purchasing it this weekend. The littlest things can make a huge difference come test time.

    Good luck!!

Yeah, 40 hours. I tried to do 2-3 hours studying during the week, 6 on Saturday/Sunday. On the last weekend, I did 12 hours on Saturday, relaxed Sunday, then took it Sunday afternoon.

It's going to be tough, but I think it's possible. So great that you can take the time off of work! Git ‘er done!

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
