Impressive scores @chandler, which course are you using and what's your study method?

    FAR - 78*
    AUD - 66, 79
    REG - 73, 76
    BEC - 79

gguzman, dude you've passed REG already you got this. Hopefully you've given it your all in this round of FAR. 3 more days means 3 more days of non stop MCQs. Sprinkle some sims in there, but mostly MCQs become a MCQ machine. Take the mock exam again on the night before. The real exam can go either way so don't get demotivated!

    FAR - 78*
    AUD - 66, 79
    REG - 73, 76
    BEC - 79

    Hi, @ahugemistake,

I've used exclusively Becker (with the exception of CPA for free on one sub-unit in BEC). I do not watch any of the lectures. I read the lecture, and then do all of the MCQ. I lookup the multiple choice questions as I go along, not treating it like a test the first time through. Once I've finished with all MC on the first go around, I start taking progress tests.

Once I'm hitting about 90% on those, I feel ready to sit for the real exam. On REG, I did all of the sims. BEC I did half or more and I didn't do any on AUD. I am working and busy season has really taken its toll on my studying time, so I've had to scale back some.

    @ahugemistake

I took your advice, did a 100 question progress test and I did better then expected. 68%. That also gave me a better picture of exactly what I need to work on. Gonna do that MCQ machine groove you are talking about for the next few days.

    thanks for the motivation man.

The real motivation comes from Mad Dog Mattis knife handing you while Chesty Puller watches over you grinding those MCQs. Keep up the good work. It will come together.

Rock County has acquired equipment through a noncancelable
    lease-purchase agreement dated December 31, 2012. This
agreement requires no down payment and the following
    minimum lease payments:
    December 31 Principal Interest Total
    2013 $50,000 $15,000 $65,000
    2014 50,000 10,000 60,000
    2015 50,000 5,000 55,000
    123. what account should be debited for $150.000 in the
general fund at inception of the lease if the equipment is a
general fixed asset and Rock does not use a capital projects
    fund?
    a. Other Financing Uses Control.
    b. Equipment.
    c. Expenditures Control.
    d. Memorandum entry only.

    the answer is C
I wonder if we debit expenditure and credit other financing source at the very beginning. What double entry should we make when we truly pay cash? maybe just make a Memorandum entry only?

    3rd times a charm?!
73 then a 70 on FAR. All studying was on hold during busy season, and now I'm stuck on another busy client until the end of June, ugh. I'm taking FAR again in May and need all the help I can get.

Any suggestions to finally pass?? I'm ready to finally move past FAR and onto REG.

@gguzman – you got your name listed in your signature and your profile pic dead gives it away with your haircut so I decided to confirm by looking at your LinkedIn. Needless to say, I was right. 0341/8154 '08-'13. Semper Fi brother.

@chandler (idk how to tag you guys lol)

Not treating the MCQs like a test the first time around is solid advice. I'm doing CPA excel right now and have used becker in the past. I do like the becker MCQs but this time I'll use the Ninja ones started in May. Best of luck to you!

@amanda Sorry to hear you're stuck on back to back busy clients. Hopefully you have a good team that understands that you need time to study before your exam. I would talk to the manager about working out a flex schedule to get Fridays/Saturdays off early so you can put in the extra time you need. I'm not sure what your strategy has been like so far but have you been spending time understanding the questions you get wrong? Which parts were your weakness on the last exam?

    Hi all,

I am getting Gleim and wondering if the test bank is enough or I need to do the entire premium package? Thanks
