    Hello all-

I currently have 2010 FAR Becker materials but my software runs out before my test is scheduled in February for FAR in 2011. Do any of you have any recommendations about study materials that will be a good supplement to the 2010 material? Will Becker post the updates for the 2011 material on their website? Any suggestions about how to study for this beast would be helpful! Thanks and good luck to all as the score relases begin!!

As long as you still have time left on your license you can request the 2011 material. You can do that by going to the becker homepage and go to review courses. Click on enroll now (yes I know it sounds like this is for new students but trust me). There is a 2011 update icon. Follow the instructions with entering your serial number to your software. Also be aware that if you would like a hardcopy of the textbook it is $20 for each section. I believe this was shipping and handling so that is all you have to pay. If you also purchased their final review or notecards they will send it to you for free.

One last thing was that it says that they will not ship until November 24th per the same section as above. I was so nervous about this I ended up calling them and they walked me through most of it. I didn't submit as I didn't have my serial number but I will register after my BEC test on Thursday.

And about studying for FAR all I have to say is set aside enough time to go through ALL the lectures and MCQ's. Also make sure you keep reviewing the sections that you already studied since there is so much information everything you learned will start slipping away. I took FAR, AUD, and BEC and FAR was by a long shot the hardest of them all.

Thanks for the input Masaman but I'm looking for studying material to supplement Becker 2010 to help me study for 2011 FAR that is relatively inexpensive. Any suggestions?

Heh, sorry about that long post then. I have read about people using Gleim and Wiley for the variety of MCQ's. Other than that I would look at the Yeager Cram. I believe I read somewhere that it is enough to pass but it doesn't have the depth of their home study review. You also get a pretty good discount when you use the discount code here on another71.com.

Good luck on FAR. I did horrible on it on my first try.
