2 Weeks till Far…Final Study Advice?

I was in the same situation a couple of weeks ago. I take FAR tomorrow, so I can appreciate your anxiety level. I can tell you this, though, after passing the first three exams, that working the MCQ at least 5-6 times each helped me.

I also did as many progress tests as possible, because those will highlight your weaker areas. I would then revisit those topics and rework the homework (again) before tackling the final exams. I think Becker adequately prepared me (and hopefully will tomorrow for FAR), but I definitely went through the material four to five times over. I would also supplement with NINJA flashcards/audio for the times of the day that I could not sit and work MCQ's for hours. Jeff has some great supplemental material that has helped me immensely! Use Jeff's NINJA approach!

You're doing much better than I am! I'm experiencing major panic mode here. I'm trying to follow the NINJA method so I have gone through all the videos, went back through the book and re-wrote NINJA notes + anything that wasnt covered by NINJA notes, now I am just now only halfway through the MCQ. For me though I am doing every single MCQ on Roger CPA Review + Wiley TB. I re-do them until I am scoring almost perfectly and then I move on. I still would like to re-write my NINJA notes but I only have 16 days left until my test and I think I'm screwed.

Yaeger Cram is a good tool. I'm using it for FAR right now. I go through the videos, take notes, do the recommended MCQs, then I do about 30 or so MCQs from the Wiley Test Bank. I used this method for Reg. and went from 71 to 91, so I'm hoping it'll translate to FAR.

I'm taking FAR in two weeks. I failed FAR and AUD expired. If I fail FAR now BEC will expire. Failing it last time shook my confidence at the core. I since purchased NINJA 10 point combo and have used WTB over Becker to prep for questions… but I'm not certain if I'm doing enough differently to make a difference.

First, calm down. The CPA exam is annoying, but you can always retake. As far as your review…Review one chapter per day for ten days. Then Take the first practice exam. Review it thoroughly/study other topics that you have trouble with. Then take the other practice test. BTW do not worry if you don't pass the practice tests-beckers are much harder than the real thing.

I agree with Caesar. Becker's final exams are brutal. But, that being said, if you can do them, you can do very well on the real thing! Good luck to everyone!
