2 weeks left, where do I focus?

    I take FAR on the 31st. Due to work, kids, etc., I haven’t gotten in as much study time as I would like.

    I have Business Consolidations/Combinations, Foreign Currency, and Financial Instruments left to cover. I know I need more simulation practice. There is just so much to remember!

    I am working MC and sims. I am listening to NINJA audio repeatedly (have some of it memorized! LOL) Should I just watch the videos for the sections I am missing and then just work MCQs?

    I would really like to pass this and not have to worry about this section again.

    Hi Renee, the sections you have left to cover are pretty important to know. Depending on how fast you get through the MCQs, you might want to consider skipping the videos. Your exam date is quickly approaching and your time is better spent practicing MCQs and reading the book for you weaker sections.

    Well first off, unless you're in the car or in someplace you can't do anything else, stop listening to the ninja audio. Its a great supplement but not a great use of your time if you haven't covered all the material.

    In my opinion you have plenty of time to finish the chapters you have left. If your time is really limited (I have no idea how much studying you can get done in a day) think about how you learn best and focus on doing that, but I wouldn't skip the lectures if they were helpful to you in the past.

    I only listen to NINJA during my commute.

    I started the Business Combinations today and it went pretty easily. In the areas I have covered already I have hit the MCQs pretty hard already, so at least I am not looking at trying to review everything over the next 2 weeks, too.
