Hi – Hoping someone can help me as i believe the NASBA office is closed right now. Here is my situation, I passed FAR and AUD which both expire on 11/30/11. I took BEC on 11/10/11 and am waiting to hear on that one, and currently I have REG scheduled for 11/29/11. I could really use the extra day of preparation for REG, but I don’t want to lose credit for AUD and FAR – so I am wondering… if it turns out that I pass BEC, and if I move REG back to the 30th and pass, would I be done with the exam? or should I play it safe and just keep my test date of 11/29/11 as it is?

Does anyone know the answer for sure? I really can’t afford “opinions”

    Thanks so much!

My AUD credit also expires 11/30. I was going to schedule REG on 11/30 but called NASBA to be sure. They said I need to take REG on 11/29 just to be safe. I really would have liked the extra day as well but I'm going with their advice. I'm taking REG on 11/29.

    AUD - 83
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 76
    REG - 86 PTL!!!!!

Used CPAExcel & Wiley testbank (awesome by the way)

Looks like you have to “take the exam prior to the expiration date of your 18 month window”. So in your case the last day you can sit would be 11/29.

Just try goggling the above term in quotes if you want to verify.

    Good luck!

I can only speak from the state of California because I've verified this –

Our scores listed on the Board of Accountancy website have a date called “Last date of credit period” (eg 18 months from when you passed the section)

We need to pass the exams ON OR BEFORE that date in order for that specific section not to expire.

However, I would verify not with NASBA, but with your state board.
