Becker was great for BEC and FAR… Hope it is just as good for REG and AUD

Any tips for REG while I’m at it? I finish the last section of Becker today and have every hour of every day till the 30th to review

If you're not a tax person, try the h&r block assessment test. It's “open book”, questions you won't see on traditional CPA review material and you only have to tell them one time you're not interested in a position, they won't pester you. I learned a lot about tax that way!

Congrats!!!! Becker is great for REG as well, but if you have time, supplement it with Wiley (don't worry about doing blaw MCQs, but tax MCQs are great practice).

I'm studying for BEC, any tips??? I'm hoping to do Econ & IT MCQs from Wiley, but afraid I won't have much time to do everything else in Wiley. I'm essentially using Becker!

CPA628 – I appreciate the suggestion about Wiley MCQ. I want to run through all the MCQ on Becker one more time and don't know if I will have time to do any extra ones from Wiley.

BEC Advice – Know your phrases from CH1 of BEC in Becker the CRIME, PHRASED, PHRASED+C stuff. Also, Read all the material at the end of IT in the ancillary section. Don't focus on just memorizing formulas and ratios because if you don't know what they are describing or their meaning then you may not be able to answer the question because most times you're not just asked for the calculation. Hope I'm not violating the nondisclosure policy but I tried to be as general as possible in my suggestions.

Only used Becker… Went through all the MCQs twice and didnt bother looking at the Written Communication stuff until the night before the test. I finished my 3 testlets with an hour and 45 minutes left so I had more than enough time to do the three WC. I'd leave 60 minutes for the WC if I were you.

Congrats man! I'm taking BEC on 8/29 – I just found out I passed REG today.

I used Becker for REG and I think it's great. As long as you put in the time, you'll be fine.

I'm also doing three tests in the same window – just bang 'em out. Good luck!
