Just found out I got an 88 on FAR! I only have one exam left, REG, which I've never taken before. After I graduated in 2014, I had low confidence because I didn't get an offer from a firm and it was a bad year for public accounting in my state. In 2015, I tried to rush through all 4 to help me get an offer, but things weren't going well. I got a 73 on FAR, 54 on AUD, and 70 on BEC, and wasn't even able to show up for REG because life was chaotic. I was then unjustly fired by an accounting manager that literally didn't know the difference between a debit and a credit, and moved to a bigger city where I had no family or friends to try and restart. I was even homeless for a little bit, but eventually got a job at a CPA firm and found this beautiful woman who decided to marry me! Unfortunately right after we met her father was diagnosed with cancer exactly 10 years after her mom died of cancer which didn't allow me to study. But eventually, he recovered (praise God!) and I found my way back home with an even better job at a better firm with amazing people and I also was able to find time to take the exams! I thought faint wouldn't allow me to take the exams, but I was wrong. I chose to do the method of studying non-stop, I spend about 40-50 hours a week studying on top of working full time. My wife misses me but she knows this is a necessary evil. I started last July, and I got a 90 on BEC, an 83 on AUD that I took in December, and last month I took FAR and got an 88! All I have left is REG which I'll take early July (going to spend the rest of busy season working hard for my firm, then will take a week to be with my wife!). I'm so happy I passed. I know this was long, but the human race can do amazing things and through perseverance anything is possible. I thought I'd never become a CPA, now I'm almost there. I've seen some rough experiences on this forum, but I just want to say, trust me when I say if I can pass, anyone can pass! I'm confident I'll pass REG in July and move on to the next step in life. Glad I joined this forum, seems like a great place for CPA's candidates! I know without a doubt everyone on this forum that have had their share of disappointing scores, including from yesterday, will find themselves as CPA's someday. God bless!
