Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

Hi guys,

Hope everyone's studies are going well. I've started freaking out!! Feel like I don't remember anything from the previous chapters, hoping it will come back to me. I have Ch. 8 to finish, then 9 and 10 in Becker and final review. I'm starting to think I won't make it for May 15th and wondering if I should push the exam out a week or two. What do you think?

Hi FAR study group. I'm at a location with no Internet so I'm killing the battery on my phone using 3G. I need help! I am struggling with Becker MCQ intercompany transaction questions that involve a ___% markup. Is the markup taken on COGS or on Gross Profit. I'm confused. Because I have no Internet, I can't really type out the question. But it's the ones related to Pard, Inc (CPA-00464) and Walker, Inc (CPA-05103). Thanks 🙂

Tina82….May 15. Seriously? You're golden if you're about to wrap up Becker. Stop stressing. You're twice as prepared as most ppl who take this exam. The folks on this forum are the exception. Most folks do not prepare for months. Most get in the zone where they have a realistic shot and take it. Rest is left up to test day, realistically – anything can happen for most of us. You've got MORE than enough time. Take a progress test or two every couple of weeks, then do plenty of progress tests and a full exam during the last few weeks. All is well.

@tina you are way way way ahead of where you should be for taking the test in over a month. My advice is to move your test up to the 15th of april. I just finished the 2nd of 8 sections in Rogers and I'm sitting on May 10th and even that is plenty of time.

@Tina82 The suggestion to move your test date up isn't half bad. 6 weeks to finish government and then final review is way too much. Just imagine how difficult another month and a half will make remembering all the early chapters, even with final review. The sooner the better; go hard and go quick.
