    Pre exam totals:

Trending about 85% overall. Average around 65% (including early quizzes)

    2 practice exams around 66% and 72%

Woke up this morning, read all ninja notes and went over journal entries.

I didn’t care to take notice to testlet difficulty, but if I had to guess it went med-med-hard for me

I knew how to do 6/7 of the sims, not sure if they’re all right but I was pretty confident with my answers.

I finished with about 40 min left so I used the rest of the time to check over my sims.

I’m not sure if I just felt well prepared, but contrary to what I’ve seen on here, I wasn’t super angry after the test. I don’t think I bombed it. This sort of worries me because I thought there was an inverse relationship between how well you think you did vs how you actually do lol.

Thanks Dunkin, your story puts me more at ease! I'm an over thinker so since I don't have anything to study, I worry about how I did. I don't want to take FAR again lol

@okcpa2015: Thanks. Yes, I was just curious. I'm currently trying to decide which study course to pull the trigger on and am having a difficult time doing so. Just saw your outstanding scores and thought I'd ask. CPA Excel is one of the courses I am strongly considering. I appreciate it!

@okcpa still kind of worried about the whole “If you think you passed you failed, if you think you failed, you passed”. Based on what I told you about mine, do you think that's true? There were definitely some tough questions on my testlets, but none were insanely hard.

@Tcohle I also finished FAR with almost an hour to spare. I didn't want to go back through my sims and start second guessing myself, so I closed the exam and left. I left feeling pretty good about my efforts and I hadn't been particularly stumped by anything.

When I told my boss that a few days later, she told me that it meant I had failed. Thankfully, I proved her wrong and scored an 82.

I think the alleged inverse relationship is complete BS. If you go in prepared and leave feeling like the exam didn't kick your butt, then I'm betting you did just fine.

    Let us know!

Wow so I guess it really doesn't matter how you feel about it…I figured there were some I got wrong either from guessing or forgetting something, but generally I felt prepared and all. I studied like 350 hrs for it and did so many mcq.

I have been waiting since April 25th.. I'm like you i didnt pay attention to if the test got harder or not but i know i didnt prepare as much as i could have since i had a lot of things going on while i was studying… My son was born and wife starting new career. At the end of the day if i passed great if not its a learning experience and now i know what type of things to expect when if i face it again.

@Tcohle this is my third score release and I just try to keep myself busy studying. Unfortunately I always choose dates where I have to wait a whole month so it's hard. I was doing really good for the first couple of weeks but now not so much. 5/27 can't get here soon enough. I actually feel like I passed so if I don't I'll be crushed. Good luck to you!!

It sounds promising for you. If you know you knew your stuff, then only random careless errors or misreading questions could slow you down, and that would only happen a small percentage of the time. I know when I know my stuff, and it sounds like you knew yours. Still keep fingers crossed but don't be surprised to find a very high score!

    Audit(11/5/13) - 89
    Reg(5/16/14) - 86

I would say that you are probably in good shape. FAR was the first one I took and I realized real quick that I hadn't taken it seriously. Walked out of there KNOWING I bombed it. Got a 52 I think. Got serious and passed REG with a 75 (whew), BEC with and 80 (kind of disappointed frankly) and AUD with 84. Took FAR again and got a 72 in Q1. After the exam I didn't feel as confident as you. I thought I had a 50/50 chance. And I failed but scored much higher. What I'm trying to say that if you aren't extremely upset/nervous you probably didi good.

Unfortunately I had my test date cancelled because of construction at the test site so I won't get a chance to take FAR in Q2. But I feel confident and I will take it in July.
