I’ve been told numerous times to not leave anything blank on the sims. ( ex. for J/E’s with a Debit the Credit column should have a 0. )

BUT… I was going through the SIM for Becker Ch. 9 and there was one that did not require an entry. I put no entry for each of the four cells and eight 0’s for each of the 4 Dr. and 4 Cr.

Becker updated the software that grades it so that’s cool. But it marked every single cell wrong except for the one that had no entry. The other 3 with no Entry were incorrect.

WHAT DO I DO DURING THE TEST?

AUD- 86 (10/2014)-passed
BEC- 84 (11/2014)-passed
FAR - 72 (04/2014), 71(08/2014), 88 (2/2015) passed
REG- 70 (5/2015) , scheduled 8/24/2015

I left 2 sims completely blank on REG and got an 81….just sayin

Just put not entry required in the one cell. You don't have to go through the entire sim repeating what you already answered.

I've always had that question. I think I've gotten some wrong for putting a positive number instead of a negative. I don't think their instructions are as clear as they think.

I always wonder about this. If you're doing journal entries, and it gives you 6 lines, but to correctly do the entry, it only requires 4 lines, what do you do with the other 2? I've seen instances where I've had simulations that don't tell you what to do with any unused lines. I never know what to do….so what's a good general rule in that situation?
