So I took FAR again yesterday and when I got to the SIMS, there was one I know I completely bombed on. Assuming this is not the one that will get thrown out (I had two research questions yesterday, I assume one of them will probably be the one that does not count), does anyone have any experience of passing the exam yet knowing you completely blew one SIM?

i completely guessed on two sims…but gave it my best effort and filled in every blank. Ended up okay. It really just depends on the rest of your test.

I completely guessed on one of my REG sims – literally waited to fill it out until last and just gave my first thought guess. It turned out okay!

    BEC 7/3/14 - 79
FAR 8/30/14 - 64, 85 (used Becker and Ninja MCQ)
    AUD 10/3/14 - 82
    REG 11/25/14 - 85

Blowing one SIM is a success my friend. Many people blow half of them and pass.

For AUD, I felt very confident with the MC portion. Took a break after the 3 testlets and went into Sims and got wrecked. 2 of them I pretty much guessed on. 1 was accounting related and had a bunch of JE's and a method of accounting I wasn't familiar with. Needless to say, I knew I had bombed it.

I felt that I either got a 75 or failed. I was able to walk away with a 77, pretty close to my prediction. My score breakdown was Strong in MC and weaker in Simulations, as expected. If you think you only bombed 1 sim, and you feel strong with your MC and okay with the other 6 sims, I would say you're in good shape.

On FAR, I had one sim where I left so many cells blank because I simply wasn't sure what went there and I don't want to give too many details away regarding the sim, so I will remain vague. I had another SIM where I didn't leave as many cells blank, but it was still a total crapshoot.

    I passed.

    AUD - 89 May 2014
    BEC - 89 July 2014
    FAR - 86 August 2014
    REG - 69 November 2014, 82 Jan 2015
