On the exam do they expect you to put zeros in the credits and debits opposite the actual entries? And are you supposed to fill in the blank lines at the bottom with zeros? On ninja you have to fill out every cell or its wrong but on the real exam you don’t have an option for blank account name so I would assume you don’t fill in the extra cells either?

Example: if
x+ y = 2
z+t= 4
k+a = suppose to be answer/adjustment, then ARE WE SUPPOSE TO ENTER ZERO's?? or leave it BLANK?

Another issue:
When we do JEs
Example: we paid $10 for inventory purchase:
Dr. Inventory $10
Cr. Cash $10
On the practice SIMs (ninja), we were suppose to put –‘s for the Dr and Cr columns where we did the Cash and Inventory entries , BUT on the actual test…do we leave them blank??? or enter Zero's?

And then yes, the SEQUENCING, as you mentioned above

I believe this alone, probably costs us points on the actual test? Because I have no idea how the computer software might be set up to detect these things, and honestly the directions are not clear. The only direction I saw for JE's was : “not all fields need to be completed.” Meaning, if the test gives me 8 blanks to fill in, its okay if my entry only requires 2, and leave the rest blank…

The instruction on the actual exam will be very clear on what you need to do.

I was racing the clock, so I did not have time to read every single word in detail and decipher what exactly I was supposed to do with blank cells.

It would be better to be prepared and know what to do ahead of time and not waste valuable time reading directions.

You should read the instructions..I had one that asked for 0s while the others asked to leave it blank.

Most of the sims have very clear instructions. Unfortunately one time I had a SIM which didn't decipher whether to put zeros or leave them blank, I read it over 5 times to double check, but there were no directions. I put zeros just in case. Maybe it was pretest though because that was my only experience with a SIM without clear directions.

Racing the clock or not, the easiest way to get more points is to read the instructions carefully. There are many questions, SIMS and MC, where if you read too fast you will select the wrong answer (and believe me, there is an answer choice that fits with the misread question) or miss easy points on the sims (such as whether to put a 0 or leave blank). We aren't saying you're not trying to be prepared, we are saying if you want to be prepared, just read the questions carefully.

I feel so mad at myself now. I looked at the AICPA sample, and on there the direction says to leave anything with no adjustment, blank.
This means if that direction was same on the test (which is crazy because I can't even recall the direction now, its like my mind is going in circles under pressure), I put in too many 0's instead of leaving blanks.

This is going to be a fail on me most likely, I will have anxiety thinking about how many points I lose because of this lol, something so….silly to look past….oh god help me.

I wouldn't worry about it too much because it is what it is lol. I took the exam on Wednesday and i had one SIM that asked for 0s and 2 other that asked for blanks… yours might be one of those that asked for 0s.
