Retake Exam Question

    Hi!
I received my score today and I got a 72 in Far. This is my last subject and all the other 3 expires on 6/30. I’m here seeking some advice on retaking the exam. Do I have a chance of retaking the exam before my score expires? For a while, I remembered Apr-June is a test window and one cannot take the same subject twice. Recently I heard last year CPA changed the rules but I’m not quite sure what that means. Anyone who can provide some advice is much appreciated!

thank you! I plan to sit for the exam on 6/25, but then the score release date for that window is on 7/13, which is after my expiration date. Do you perhaps know if it's based on the exam date or the score release date?

It's based off of the exam date so you're taking it in time.

thank you! There are 2 store release windows :now-6/8 and 6/8-6/30 before my credit expires. Does that mean if I take it before 6/8 and failed, I can take it again in the next round before 6/30?

Maybe it's changed since I took the exams but I believe 6/30 is during a blackout period and you can't take the exam on that date.

If I was in your shoes I'd schedule a test for the first score release block (by 6/8) and continue to study until you receive your score then test again before 6/30 if you didn't pass. It'll cost more for test fees but that way you basically get another two shots at passing.
