Hypothetically of course, but if i got a SIM during Q1, that was also on my Q2 Retake, would you guess its a pre test? Dumb luck? Does this happen more often than I would think?

If it’s application level like eps,Bond then it may not be be . If it’s Govt or NFP then most likely pre test.

Hard to say because the only one who would know is the AICPA.

I had a repeat sim on my audit test. I’m pretty it counted. The first time I struggled through it, but looked how to do it right after so when I saw it again, I knew exactly how to do it. I clearly failed the first time, but passed on my retake

I also took FAR in Q1 and Q2 (today) the first SIM I got was the exact repeat of a Q1 sim on contingencies, only scenarios I see is that the Q1 one was pretest and the Q2 one was real. Or I just got lucky. Who knows

This literally happened on REG and BEC, possibly AUD as well. I would say they all counted because of the fact I passed when it happened lol. I think this is an example of why it's good to take notes or jot down whatever you remember when you leave the exam center, regardless of how you're feeling. Whatever is in your head as soon as you leave is long gone by the time you get home, so it's best to get it all on paper. Do like a self-assessment and target the areas where you felt you were lacking.
