I joined this site when distraught over REG (which went fine in the end) and now I make (hopefully) my final post of this type, lol! 4/4 taken, and hopefully, 4/4 passed…

FAR was… In a word… Brutal. I THINK that is good. I made some rookie mistakes (and I always have the bad habit of proving my mistakes which is what I’m doing now…), but I felt I put on a good show on the MCQs. I’d bet you 100 bucks I had 2 hard testlets since the 2nd and third testlets had SCREEN SIZED QUESTIONS and long paragraphs and so many complex calculations… The first Testlet I was averaging my normal 1 min per MCQ. on 2 & 3 they were so long it was crazy — I had to cut a few corners on 3 I think. Still had about 1 hour and 40 mins for sims, and I think that was enough. I didn’t feel pressured and had time to research things.

2 sims I honestly still don’t quite get the question, but I put up a decent show on most of them.

I’m just so bummed by the long wait 🙁 I feel similarly to REG, and I hear this is just how it feels after FAR. So I will TRY not to lose sleep over it. I had my first ever CPA related dream tonight and it was a stinker, though, lol. But my actual Exam experience was better than the dream. In the dream the tests were not functioning so we had to use a paper based exam, but the paper for the SIMS was stolen by a malcontent student! Enraging XD Evidently Dream prometric is prepared enough to have an authorized paper exam but not prudent enough to prevent the theft of a key component!

So the CPA exam will hopefully not taunt me anymore 🙁

To everyone in this boat: Good luck on the month long voyage! If JamesBJames is right I should kill the exam since I got 85s ob both practice finals (though only about 80 on the MCQs — the SIMS boosted me significantly), but we shall see 😮
