So, I have been out of college for 5 years now and, honestly, I did lackluster in college because I was young and goofy. However, I have since been trying to reedmen myself and have decided to take the CPA. I am using Wiley and starting with FAR since I have spent the last 5 years as a financial accountant.
My question is related to studying. I have come up with a plan for study and I wonder what your thoughts are on this.
For the weekdays I would study 2 hours in the morning, 1 hours over lunch and 2 hours in the evening which totals 5 study time for that days topic.
For Saturday, I would follow the same routine but also include 1-1.5 hours to review everything I have studied that week. Which would add up to 6-6.5 hours for Saturday.
Then on Sunday, again, same routine as the week but would also include a comprehensive review of everything I have studied from day one using the flash cards and Test Bank. I cannot put an decent time on this so I won’t.
Does this make sense as a possible study schedule?
Additional info: I do have a full time job but I don’t have a busy season since I work for an manufacturing company. I don’t have any kids, just a dog. And my family lives 600 miles away so don’t have to worry about them dropping by.
