Is it THAT bad to have this happen? I’m going to thoroughly go over bonds, but leases, bonds, and deferred taxes have been my weak points. Will I fail if there are a few topics I don’t know 100% in and out?

I can pretty much guarantee that you will not know everything 100% when you walk into the exam room for FAR. There is just so much information. If you have gone through everything and you have a test bank then now is the time to really figure out what your weak areas are, which I think you have listed above and start drilling those areas as much as possible. Know how to do an amortization table backwards and forwards, know JEs, and know your temporary differences versus permanent differences for deferred taxes. If you try to learn every detail of every topic you will drive yourself crazy. What areas are tested heavily in your test bank? Those are the ones you should focus on right now. You can also make a one page note set of little memorization points to study the morning of the exam. Focus on the concept areas that require understanding. It's almost impossible to know everything for FAR due to volume but if I were you I'd focus on the following in your final review process (not in any order of significance)

1. NFP/GOV

2. Bonds/Leases

3. IFRS

4. Taxes

5. Revenue Recognition

Don't overlook Gov and NFP, they are in my opinion the wildcard of FAR.

You are absolutely not going to know everything but if you have acknowledged weak areas a month before the exam make it a, point to dig deeper into them. I tried to really embrace one concept every 2-3 days that I had previously struggled with.

I had whole areas I didn't even study and I passed with a 90. So it is possible, but i don't recommend it. If you are really solid on the parts you do know, and a little lucky, you may be able to do it, but I agree with the above. You can get there in a month.

You don't have to know everything, but you need to have a good understanding of most key topics. Who knows what you will get on exam day? You need to be prepared for everything.

For example, my first FAR exam had 2-3 IFRS questions. My retake had TONS. Every exam focuses on different areas.

Know govt and nfp very well. Those topics are ESSENTIAL!!

I agree, GOV/NFP is not a section you want to skip over, especially if you don't have any experience in those. I know they say it accounts for approx. 20% of the exam but it sure seemed like more than that when I took FAR.
