Did anyone feel confident after taking FAR? I’ve heard mostly everyone say they felt like they failed but how many of you felt like you passed? If so, did you pass? I’m indifferent about my most recent testing experience with FAR. I didn’t feel it was overly difficult but at the same time it felt like a whirlwind. I felt comfortable with what was tested but I’m nervous I missed a bunch of little stuff. I felt like the TBS instructions were not explained well. I look forward to hearing from y’all!

I didn't feel strongly one way or the other after FAR. At this point, worrying does you no favors. When TBS has issues with the instructions, if you used your good sense then you're fine. When it's ambiguous and people mention it, they investigate it. Good Luck!

It was my first exam but I walked out thinking there's a 50% chance that I passed. Got a 97. I think it's normal to feel demoralized after FAR. REG was pretty similar, but I don't know if I passed that or not yet.

Took FAR a few weeks ago and felt pretty good but that concerns me as most of the time when I feel like I did well, I end up doing poorly so I'm expecting that I didn't pass. My scores going into the exam were all over the place so if I pass, I'll be shocked.

Test was fair though, can't complain. SIM's were decent, got two easy ones and the rest were funky.

I was 50/50 on FAR as well. Walked out feeling shell shocked, like I took a mule kick to the head.
Last minute advice is not to do MCQs the day before you exam.
Review book for highlighted or bolded words, review charts, review mnemonics. Reread some notes on trouble topics. Read and review, but nothing calculation or analytical. Keep your mind fresh for tomorrow.
Also, AICPA sample test is a must do. Good luck!

I took FAR last Thursday. 1st testlet had some really odd questions (maybe first half), 2nd testlet was more straightforward so felt I had a decent shot on most questions. There were probably two sims that I really don't think I did well on. Hoping one was a pretest question.

I don't feel great about it, the questions are tricky even when you know what they're getting at and can recall the principles. That's what drives me crazy about it!

I think I have a shot to pass, but I really can't say I'd be surprised with anything from a 60 to an 80.

Taking FAR tomorrow. I'm always baffled by the people who think they failed and then get in the 90's. I always feel like it could go either way and then I usually get in the low 70's. Spent a ton of time this time around on MCQ and feeling great about those and pretty good about SIMS too. As always though, I'll always feel like I could've bombed with a 50 or passed with a 90

Sal I took the exam last Thursday also and had an almost identical experience as yours. The first part of the first testlet had several questions that I had to read several times to get. The second testlet was straightforward with only one that I had to read over. There was one SIM that I hope was a pretest because it was out of this world with the knowledge needed to complete it. I did get asked one topic over and over on the MC and SIMS. I'm not sure how I did but I'm thinking it will be close.

Just took FAR. I have to say it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I did take my time on the first two testlets but I think I should do good on that. I answered all of the SIMS however, they were medium to hard so not sure about those. Has anything thought they did bad/ok on the SIMS and passed? Hopefully I passed. Just want a 75.

Waiting on REG and BEC scores on the 11 and FAR on the 19. This could either be amazing or really bad. I sure hope I pass. Good luck everyone.

I just took FAR yesterday. Not going to lie; I felt like I got my ass kicked by that test. First three testlets were pretty solid. I'm almost certain that I got the harder second MCQ testlet. First two SIMs I believe I did well on. Took my break….and then oh man, the last 6 sims were brutal. I definitely knew some of the answers but only maybe 60-70% on 2 of them. I'm also fairly sure I didn't get the research problem correct. I don't understand how people say those are gimmes. On REG and FAR I got hit with some super random topics. I spent too much time on the research problem and ended up running out of time on the last SIM (which was totally do-able); only got about 50-60% of the fields completed. Anyways, I feel extremely anxious about my score. Saying my prayers. Good luck to everyone!

I took it yesterday, too. I was able to finish it and not leave any blanks, so that in itself is a plus! The times I've failed it I didn't finish everything…and the exams where I finished everything I passed.

I felt like the mcqs tesltlets were where I did really well…then SIMS are always a toss up because you're never really sure which is pretest and can end up wasting a lot of time on it. I feel like one of the ones in the 3rd testlet was pretest. That pisses me off because that's where you lose a bunch of time. Anyway, I feel like it to go either way but I'm leaning toward a positive outcome 🙂

When I took REG in August I was feeling much the same way, kind of nervous I may have failed, and got 86 so it's anybody's guess how they score these things. Good luck to all! I'm done if I passed 😉

I felt really good on FAR and got an 88, which isn't great but is decent. An 88 was right around what I was expecting to get too. Only exams I was pleasantly surprised by in regards to my scores were BEC and REG.
