My test totally stayed easy the whole time! Has anyone has that happen but still passed? Sims were brutal, ifrs, govt, drs, the works! I’m doomed :'(

@nath – I think it's a combination of things. I've always been a very fast test taker, but another big part of it was that my test was mostly conceptual, I only had a few questions that required calculations. I've drilled Becker so many times that I didn't have to read the question all the way through to know the answer. I don't recommend this strategy, but I panic when I take tests and rush through everything using gut feeling. I redid each chapter's MCQs 5-7 times, so I was so used to seeing certain terms together, I think that helped with my time a lot. I recommend doing the same – conceptual questions, in my opinion, should be a no-brainer. Even with ones I hadn't seen before, I could still react quickly – for example, I had a question that referenced inventory and its affect on net income. Because Becker already covered the same question but with COGS instead of NI, I was able to conceptualize it very quickly, because the concepts were essentially the same, just the question was asked differently. I hope that's somewhat clear, I'm trying not to give away any content of the exam. If you nail down the conceptual question during your Becker practice, you'll have more time for calculations.

Also, I always use the search words near each other for the AL questions. I only mention this because I've read that people have blown through their time looking for the answer to a research sim, and I've never had a problem during Becker practice or on exams finding the answers to the questions in a few minutes. FAR took me under 1 minute, so I'm sure I gained some time there too. I hope that helps a little! I see that you've already passed a couple of the exams so you may already know this, but I just wanted to throw it out there!
