I’ve passed AUD, REG, & BEC on the first try.
Figuring FAR would be the hardest, I put in about 200 hours… probably twice as many hours as I put into any other single exam.
Worked the multiple choice, nothing crazy… figured I got most of them right. I was actually shocked at how easy the exam seemed.
Then I got to the SIMS. Honestly I have no clue what was F’n going on with them. I got 1 research question and 6 questions exclusively on journal entries about topics from left field. I used Becker and thought I knew a good portion of J/E’s at least on the major topics. I was absolutely floored by the complexity… 4 times harder than sims I got in AUD & REG.
I’ve seen similar posts like this, and many of people who shared this experience passed. I don’t understand how this can be. If I passed they can’t possibly be scoring the SIMS.
Did anyone else have a similar experience w/ the SIMS in this window?
REG - 75
BEC - 82
AUD - 90
FAR - 78
