There are 66 MCQ and 8 SIMS,how do they score the exam to get to 100?

Nobody truly knows..

All we know is that MCQs are 50% and SIMs are 50%. Some MCQs are weighted heavier as well, if you did well on testlet 1.

No such thing as a 100 on the CPA exam, top score is a 99. It is not graded on a % basis. MC and TBS are weighted and scaled to determine your overall score. Check out this link for more info:

Trying to figure out how they score it is a losing battle, that time is better spent studying:) Just plan to learn enough to get a 99, and pray for a 75:)
