    Brutal.

    This was my 2nd attempt, after failing pretty bad back in Dec.
    T1- Medium
    T2- Hard
    T3- Medium/Easy (so that probably means I didn’t do so well in T2)

    (I will say I feel like NINJA MCQ prepared me well for the MCQs though.)

    The sims were so much harder than I’d experienced in Dec though. Even the research question… and I usually nail those (I consider myself a black belt when it comes to finding/researching info).

    However, the other 6 sims, really difficult computation and complexities. I’m seriously worried. I have until August to pass this one and REG (I start studying for REG now, and take it in 2 weeks). I was trending 74% with NINJA going into this, which I know isn’t ideally high, however I’m hoping I don’t have to find out what it’s like to take FAR in Q2.

    Anyone have a horrible experience and end up strong?

    … Gosh I hope the CPA Gods are in my favor this quarter!

    @TXCPAGAL12 were you at least close? Seems like I had a very similar experience as you on 3/10 and I am skeptical of passing based on how I couldn't tell the level of difficulty of my MCQ's and my SIMS were brutal. The only way for me to pass was definitely if I killed the MCQ's

    @TXCPAGAL12 Same here, failed with a 74. CPA gods were not on my side and now I'll have to deal with the 50% sims and the long wait.

    @Cruzer
    Sounds like me. Couldn't tell the difference between MCQ testlet, but killer sims. Performance report shows stronger on MCQ and weaker on sims, go figure. Even if you killed the MCQ, sims are 40%. It's all up to luck then whether or not to can squeeze enough points to squeak by with a 75-79.

    @Anthony so close man, you will easily get it next time. How close are you to finishing? I'm just praying to the CPA gods that I was close enough to 75 its bumped up so I can be done and they don't have to worry about me having 3 passed under old format and 1 still left to pass under new format. Would hate to screw the AIPA statistics up that they produce showing how many times a candidate sits for the exam before successfully conquering all 4. This was my first time at FAR. I didn’t think it was horrible but the SIMS were so ridiculous I couldn’t even concentrate on where to start. I think I ended up getting 4 almost 100% right but the last 3 were kinda all over the place, especially the DRS I had.
