Hello Everyone:
I took my first exam FAR on 1/3/19. I got there way too early but had reviewed before I got there. I was so nervous for some reason about the whole process. I was offered a calculator and sat down there were headphones and my test was ready.
I brought my own earplugs and decided to use them afterwards since my ears hurt from the headphones. The first few questions made me super nervous and I felt like I didn’t remember anything haha. I decided to just go for it and then the second testlet came and it wasn’t that bad (probably did bad first go round).
TBS was like the moment I felt a little confident, but they confused me a bit and I watched out for time. It was hard not knowing what was next, so I averaged my time to deal with TBS (using Excel helped a lot). One of the materials I reviewed before I left home was on there! There was some things I didn’t wanna see but it was on there. I didn’t take the 15 min break and finished 20-25 mins early.
Glad I did a quick review that morning… I was like imma fail but now I just have mixed feelings. Now I’m studying for AUD using Wiley and was watching the intro vids in Wiley and realized that this Exam is more about difficulty. If I knew that I would have studied differently for FAR but oh well. I went from I’m gonna fail to it is what it is lol. I wasted so much time thinking I couldn’t do this exam but it’s possible. Score release is targeted for Feb 5th.
Thanks,
Bunny
