Qarnism, here is an answer I posted months ago when asked:
You know how in school you remember everything from last week but NOTHING from the beginning of the semester? So you hoped your professor didn't have cumulative finals? That's what happened with me with Gleim.
I followed the study plan over 3 months and did the 5-day review at the end. But I honestly didn't remember the stuff from the beginning. Both times I didn't finish the exams and failed. I assume the other review courses have set study plans.
Now I do Gleim but added Ninja MCQ. The questions are mixed so you are reviewing all topics at the same time. For REG I attempted all the questions but didn't hit the review phase. For AUD I did answer them all correctly and hit the review phase. I did all the SIMS once for both tests.
That being said, I was unemployed from May to August so all I did was study for AUD. Also, Mondays seem to be better testing days than Saturdays. You have all weekend to study.
Go to the AICPA website and take the sample exam. I didn't do that the first 2 times. Also, if you have Ninja there are 50 free AICPA questions you can print out.
That's a long answer to a short question. I hope this helps. — M
