I just failed FAR for the second time with a 74 (first time got a 73), and I do not think that there is much more I can do. As in: I literally studied no distraction all day, every day for a month. I am currently studying REG/taking it on November 15. However, I am wondering if I should try and crush out FAR before I start work January 5 or keep my plans to cram BEC and AUD before then? Just in general, I am veering towards not even bothering with this license anymore, considering I have been at it for 4 months and have nothing to show for it. Also, can you contest a score…? What is that process like, if anyone knows?

I'm sorry it's frustrating but just stick to your original plan. You've got a solid foundation but need some tweaking. You can challenge a score, the way it works is you pay hundreds of dollars and wait months to be told your original score stands, less then .001% of scores are changed because of appeals.

Don't give up! It took me A YEAR to get 3 passes, though, a lot of it had to do with personal issues. But you can FIGHT through this.

If you started for REG, I would power through to take in Nov. I would work EVEN extra harder for REG to get that FIRST pass because you don't want to take it in the new format. You can do it. Your plan still works.

    Don't let this phase you.
