@sandy which website do you mean? The CPA Online Test Bank is up and running. Other Wiley sites outside of CPA may be down due to the NYC area storm.

@sandy I'd call Wiley support at the number below — once they know the exact details (log in page does not load in browser window, log in error etc.) they can determine the cause. The site is up in general.

I am having issues too. I can get to the log-in screen and i log-in but then it just times out. Has been doing it the past couple days.

Update.

I just spoke with th Wiley Tech support. Their servers are down because of power problem in New Jersey. He told me that the site should start working by evening or at the latest tomorrow.

Thanks for the update and thanks for posting this too. I thought it was something wrong with my computer. I called too since I can't get log on either. My tech said it was probably my browser (huh?!) but then said it could possibly be the storm. :/

Okay everyone you're not going crazy — this is mostly likely due to the Test Bank application host/developer upgrading servers. They said there might be intermittent impact this week. We will definitely let them know you are having issues. There are also issues with other Wiley systems due to Sandy, but those are unrelated to the Test Bank which is hosted from outside of Nashville, TN and the Indian subcontinent. While the CPA editorial, marketing and other staff are based out of Hoboken, NJ which is impacted (with the main office still closed), from a technical perspective the application itself should not be impacted by any east coast weather events.

We do realize any downtime impacts your study — we will ask the dev team for an update on the work they are doing and an ETA on when they will be done.

@sandy please call Wiley Customer Support1.800.762.2974 — the reason you can't access the test bank might be unique to you (subscription expired, your OS, browser, java etc.). I just checked with our Support team and some reports of access difficulty are coming in but nothing that would suggest the application is down or offline.

I do still think there is something wrong with it. It was fine last night when I was using it but now I can get to the main page and click log-in it says “waiting on a response from cliksonline.com” and then ends up going to the internet explorer cannot display this page website.

My subscription expires only next year. I cleaned out all my cache in the system and all things which the support people told me to do but still it is not working.

Like rmm91909, I was also able to access the system briefly yesterday night. This is crazy. Every time just before the exam, wiley doesn't work.

Just bought BEC test bank. PIN CODE DOES NOT WORK. CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE, TAKE FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN. GIVING UP. any one has same problem?

Wiley CPA website is still not working. It came back yesterday night for about 1/2 hr, then it is gone again.

“Not only Wiley but other application users in USA are facing similar kind of issues. This is because of hampered network connectivity across USA (especially in east coast). Please let me know, if users outside USA also faced & reported similar issues. Nevertheless, our network team will continue to monitor this issue and we will share further findings.”
