Anyone else having issues with the Wiley Testbank and Java. I can do the MCQ but the TBS all crash because of Java. tech support has me jumping through hoops and none of their ideas have worked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Which browser are you using?

I tried IE, firefox and google chrome. All three fail

If you are on a Mac try to uninstall and reinstall Java.

I logged on to the test bank for the first time yesterday and now every single time I go in there I get this message telling me Java is not installed. “The test bank requires Java plugin. It is either disabled or not installed. To install the Java plugin, click on ‘Install' button and follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to restart the browser after plugin installation.” So I go through the motions and when it's done I get a message that it's already installed.

I also get some other message when I click on the practice test button, but I can get beyond that and use the functionality.

The browser is IE, but maybe I'll try it with Chrome.

Having to fake reinstall Java over and over again isn't the end of the world (although annoying!), but I worry that at some critical moment I'm not going to be able to get the test bank to work.

DJN, I had this problem too when I first used the test bank. I suggest you to try again, by read the instruction carefully, it should have an instruction says if you still can't use it, you need to go to Tools button in a IE browser, then click on Internet Option, then need to reset something to enable the java ( I can't remember exactly). Then you need to close the IE, re-open one, go to the test bank to see if it's enabled. If it still doesn't work, contact the technical support from the test bank, they have online live chat, they will guide you step by step. It won't take long time, just be patient.

Hi DJN, I'm having the same problem! I've been using chrome for the MCQ with no trouble, but today I tried doing some TBS and they wouldn't open at all. Every time I tried to resume the exam, it told me that my security was blocking it from working. Can't figure out what's blocking it though. Then when I go on internet explorer, it tells me that I don't have Java installed at all, which doesn't make any sense either.

Were you able to fix the problem?

I've been having the same problem but I think it's just really really slow. Can you download the SIMS for offline mode?
