Wiley Test Bank Simm – Excel Formulas?

    Hello All,

I was not able to find any info on this, and was wondering if anyone had any info to help me out.

I was using the Wiley testbank to do a Partner Equity Valuation simulation, and since the answers were to be put in an excel spreadsheet, I thought it’d be easier for me to use equations rather than a calculator and risk a wrong answer. When I submitted the question, it told me the answer(s) was/were wrong, but all of the amounts were identical. Could this be because I entered formulas as opposed to the actual numbers?

More importantly, will the same thing happen to me on the CPA Exam? Do you guys think it would be safer to just enter the numbers instead of formulas?

    Thanks in advance.

    FAR - 68, 82
    AUD - 78
    REG - 57, 67, 11/24/14
    BEC - 81

I had the same issue/worry. I am pretty sure on the actual exam as long as the answer is right formula or typed in answer doesn't matter. For Wiley I think it's just how the software works they have to only accept one answer as correct and that's how it's written.

    Good luck!

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!
